I really enjoyed this fast-paced erotic thriller. I loved Jessica! The entire story is told in first person from her POV, and she was a fun and interesting character. Since this is the first book in the series, I'm hoping we get to know even more about her in the future. The plot was exciting and easy to follow. I loved that the story took place in Paris. There were just enough descriptions to keep it interesting without ever boring me with details. This wasn't a romance by any stretch. Although there is an interest, there really wasn't any relationship building or strong dialogue to connect the characters. Although they did save each other's life a few times! I knew that going into the story, but a romantic element would have made this story phenomenal for me. I hope we get to see that in the future.
On a side note, I'm always nervous reading the first book by any author. I get concerned about grammar and spelling errors on top of plot issues. What an extremely pleasant surprise not to find any of that!
