Capture & Surrender - L.A. Witt, Aleksandr Voinov I loved this story!! It definitely had some heavier moments, but they were very touching and fit with the story. Frank had a rough life, bringing some of his problems on himself, but he never looked for sympathy. The price he paid for the mistakes he made in his youth was much too high. Hearing about how he lost his husband to AIDS related complications was heartbreaking. Brandon was a great character with a lot of sex appeal and strength, and although he was much younger than Frank, the ending showed that his maturity certainly matched Franks'. Brandon's prior love life was equally devastating. Seeing these two make a connection, and find their happy ending together, was absolutely beautiful.

Please note that there is one sex scene with Frank and his best friends prior to Frank connecting with Brandon. Brandon also has sex outside of the relationship, mostly in his job as a rentboy. I loved the time spent on the paintball games, and thought it added some excitement to the story. This story can be read without reading the series. However, for fans of the series, it was great to learn so much about Frank and how he came to own the Market Garden. There is quite a bit of hot and steamy sex in this story, as welcomed and expected, but it never overwhelmed the story.
